Phil Mitchell - Consultant

Ray Kitestarted his career in 1969 with Sedgwick Collins where he founded the first specialist P&I Department in an international insurance broker.  Phil became a Director of Sedgwick Marine in 1976, then went on in 1980 to become an underwriter for the Britannia P&I Club and a partner of Tindall Riley &Co, the Club’s Managers.  He was a co-founder in 1992 of ITIC, a mutual for shipbrokers and agents.  After a spell back with Sedgwick as Head of the broker’s global P&I team in the 1990’s and then UIB,  Phil is now retired but “on call” to KWW and spends at least two days a week in the office with us.
